Lateral Pressure Test of Vertical Joint Concrete and Formwork Optimization Design for Monolithic Precast Concrete Structure

When the vertical joints of monolithic precast concrete structures are cast by self-compacting concrete, design formwork under rational lateral pressure becomes a key technical issue. In this paper, prototype simulation test was conducted for pouring in joint walls. The continuously poured from top with height 2.8 m without any assistance such as delivery tube. measured at different heights varying casting time. Results showed that increased increase slump-flow fresh reaching peak value about 70 kPa 600 mm bottom formwork. Compared to 550 mm, reached 655 and 755 presenting an 31.5% 44.9%, respectively. A method calculating on is proposed using analysis enveloped curves. Under condition enough strength limited deformation formwork, optimal aluminum alloy determined finite element analysis. This provides sci-tech foundation lighten weight improve installation efficiency reduce manual power cost.
